Joseph Saburn is a noted executive compensation, corporate governance and employee benefits lawyer with outstanding depth of experience developed over thirty years of comprehensive work at prominent international law firms and large multi-national corporations. He counsels public and private companies on broad human resource matters, particularly on the design and implementation of stock and non-equity and other executive compensation arrangements. He drafts and negotiates executive contracts and severance agreements. He advises boards of directors, compensation committees, senior executives and their lawyers on these matters. He also advises on related merger issues, including change in control and IPO matters. He has extensive experience advising fiduciaries in the proper discharge of their duties and establishing procedures and strategies to protect fiduciaries and plan sponsors from liability for investment and other benefit plan decisions.
